I was giving child support until I was fired from work, do I have to file back charges when I start working again?

Re: Child support

Yes, you are going to owe all child support as ordered, regardless of your unemployment. You should file a motion to modify and reduce the child support for your period of unemployment. Prior to doing that you should discuss the issue with an attorney who can give you good advice concerning filing the motion and the possible outcomes. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
