child support

If a child has graduated but will continue on in fall being a full time college student, Isnt child support still granted for that child till 23 as long as in school full time

No. You are confusing IRS requirements for claiming a dependent with California child support requirements ... California child support terminates when the child turns 18 or, if still in high school, when he/she turns 19 or graduates (whichever comes first).

First, it depends on what your judgment or child support order states. If you negotiated for child support until your child is out of college, then it would continue until said child is out of college. However, if not, then unless you go to court for an order stating otherwise, no one will be ordered to pay for child support after the minor turns 18 or finishes high school.
