Child Support

1. My husband's ex-wife wants more child support and suppousal support because I have a business that is only under my name and I file my taxes along with my other incoms separately from my husband's. Can she go after my business income?

2. Does she have the right to have my husband pay for her attorney?

The general rule is that the new spouse income is not to be used to determine the amount of child support. New spouse income is used for the purpose of determining the amount of tax paid by the payor spouse. You should consult with an attorney to determine your rights and obligations.
