Legal Question in Family Law in California

Child Support Issue

My Ex is not paying the child support since last six months which was ordered by the court six months ago. Can i file the contempt of court charges against him ? I am representing myself since I cannot afford the attorney.

Re: Child Support Issue

You can file a contempt but it is my experience that it rarely gets you what you want and that is money!

I am a Family Law attorney who has a practice devoted to collecting past due child and spousal support orders for over 16 years.

I do not charge hourly rates...and no retainer fees.

My fees are contingent upon my collecting your support. I don't collect...you don't pay fees.

Please feel free to contact me for any additional information that you might need.
