child support

what the judge look at when it come to child support? My exhusband is married and has 3 children. They both work and they have live- in grandmother which take care of the children so they don't pay for daycare. I am single mother with one paycheck and has a 19year-old whom goes to school. My exhusband has temporary custody until december. That the day that I will know if he his going to stay with his father or me . Even though there is a court order say that he is not suppose ask for child support at this time. Do they look at just his income or both his and her combine?
