Legal Question in Family Law in California
Child support
What is the law pertaining to collection of child support if the custodial parent does not currently live in the state of California? Is the custodial parent still eligible to collect support from Califonia? Does the non custodial parent still have to pay the amount agreed upon in the state of California? In the event that back child support is owed, does the non custodial paren still have to pay if the child no longer resides in the state of California?

Re: Child support
A parent is responsible for child support regardless of what state the child resides in and the state in which the supporting parent lives. If the supporting parent lives in another estate not only does the state have a duty to enforce child support the federal attorney also has a duty to enforce child support payments.
