Legal Question in Family Law in California

Child support

The mother of a child who I had an affair with is claiming that she has a baby by me. She has said that she will send the DA after me if I don't pay support. Can she just say I am the father without any proof and if it is my child will my wife's income be calculated in the child support?

Re: Child support

Don't pay until paternity is established. The DA will pay for DNA testing. You can arrange it yourself, if you like. Cost: about $600
