Legal Question in Family Law in California

Child support order over 10 yrs ago, not employed at the time nor the last 10yrs. $amt not feasible at time. My fault for not going back to court and letting it accumulate. Children pass 18yrs of age. Based on earnings & spouse never collected aid can the $amount be lowered?

Child support is not changed retroactively. I find it hard to believe that you have not worked for ten years and did not seek a lower child support amount.
