Has paid SOME support, but never steady- has paid late, written bad checks for Support(NSF), or not paid at all. The amount owed now up to $14,480! Can I garnish my Ex's wages for Child Support owed? Never had to open case w/CDCSS...Last filing in case was a 'Findings and Orders'' re: modified support amount to be paid/payments on arrears/etc. Any help would be appreciated!

First, unless there is some special order to the contrary, your ex does not have to "report" any change of income or employment to you or your lawyer.

NSF checks are a crime and you can report him to the police.

It sounds like the best route to collect is a wage garnishment which is absolutely available. Keep in mind, however, everytime he changes employers, you have to do the paperwork again to start a new garnishment.

Good luck.
