Legal Question in Family Law in California

child support

My parents are getting divorced. My mother has a greater income this year than my dad, but she pays for all me and my sisters expenses. Before my dad left the only thing he paid was rent, while my mom paid food, clothes etc.. If they get a divorce whill she need to pay him since she makes more? Also, until what age does he need to pay child support if I'm 16 and my sister is 19 and is a full time student as I will be in two years?

Child support is payable until the child is 18 years old or is 19 and a full time student in high school.
