Legal Question in Family Law in California

Child Support Paternity and Support

I have submitted several reviews for childsupport payments. I also have submitted in my review that I would like a paternity test, with know luck. I don't have the money to afford to take off because I have another case in another state. What are my options. I'm really at wits end with this and it is starting to be unbearable. I don't have enough money to fly to california nor even pay my bills. Childsupport wants me to pay this high support, but I have insisted from day 1 I need a paternity test. Childsupport states they tried to give me one, but I was over seas right before I got out of the military, and has not even been served. Can u please give me the best advice u can, so I can start a process of feeling some relief from this high stress level. Thanks.

Re: Child Support Paternity and Support

Child support should file a petition to determine paternity. This petition should be served on you. You would then file a response denying paternity.
