Legal Question in Family Law in California

Child Support

I pay my ex-wife child support for our 2 children who stay with her 70% of the time. Do I have any say in what the money is used for? e.g. allowance, savings for the children. She says if I want to do any of the above then I should pay for that myself. Am I entitled to ask her for support. She works 10 hours a week.

Re: Child Support

You have no control over how she uses the child support you pay. However, depending upon the facts of your case you may be able to insist that she seek full time employment. You should discuss the facts of your case with an attorney.
