Child Support Payments

I'm a father who has re-married,as did my ex-wife.In calculating child support payments,do you take the new spouses income into consideration?My ex pays 160.00 to me, she makes twice as much as me. I remarried recently and now have to pay her 211.00. Please answer me.

Re: Child Support Payments

Your remarriage improved your net since you can file MFJ. However, your new wife's income is not considered for support except to the extent it reduces your net income (bcz you have tax on her income).
