Child Support payments

For a mother that has full custody of a child does the income of her second husband have any bearing on the child support the father's child should pay. The mother's husband has not adopted the child

The general rule is that new spouse income is not considered in setting child support. His income will be used to determine the amount of taxes you pay. There may be an exception if you do not work outside of the home. Then income will be attributed to you.
