If the mother makes more money than the father and they have joint physical custody, would the court mandate that the mother pay the father child support?

Re: Child Support Payments

Gender of the parents or the children has no impact on the child support guidelines. There are three factors, the percent of time spent with the child by each parent, the net income of the mother and the net income of the father. If the joint custody of the child(ren) is shared so that each parent has 50% of the time with the child(ren) and mother makes more than father, mother would pay father child support.
