Legal Question in Family Law in California

Child Support payments

I do not have a child support order in place at this time. In 2000 I did have one and it was $402 a month. I had it closed in 2005 with an understanding of him helping me. That really didn't happen. Could I go back to the day of my childs existing and request that money plus interest?

or Would I be able to use what his income is now to collect child support from day one? I need help with understanding how that would work.

Re: Child Support payments

The course of action would depend upon what you mean by closing the the child support. If that means that you closed the child support case with the department of child support services case, and did not reset child support to $0.00 then you can go back to the date he made his last child support payment.
