child support

my previos employer had a wage garnishment for child support while my pay was taken out of my cheks, my child support didnt get paid. i have pay stubs totalling over 7000. dollars he kept. what do i do?

Re: child support

Take copies of the pay check stubs to the department of child support services. Then contact the district attorney's office and report this theft of your money. If that does provide any relief than contact an attorney regarding getting the child support deemed paid. The state requires a wage assignment be issued. That once the wages were withheld by your employer the state received the money and you are no longer responsible.
