Legal Question in Family Law in California

child support after 18

Never received welfare, or child support during my 18 years of life. Father found me when I was 24 years old. Can I get child support? Any type of money compensation? My mother was new to this country she did not have the means to get child suppport and did not ask for welfare for me. She did get a few months of food. I know my fathers address and home phone number. I did attend college for 6 years after high school. Could I atleast get my tuition reinbursed? He is self employed in the landscaping business in CA.
