Child support

I have recently been ordered to pay for health insurance for a child I share 50/50 custody of with my ex. I pay $200/month in child support and the insurance premium is $250/mo. can my child support be adjusted (lowered)because i am now also paying for his health insurance? if so could you advise of the specific Family Law code.

It is possible, the health care amount that you are paying would be put into the disso master calculation and it could result in a reduction. This is assuming that the $250 for health care was not known and entered when you received the original order. You would need to file an osc for change of circumstances to have it adjusted.
