Legal Question in Family Law in California

child support

my son is 28 now. he was abused at 14 yrs by a 30 yr old woman resulting in a child. he is now paying child support in the amt of 400.00 per month which we believe is excessive. this woman has continued to have 3 more children by 3 different fathers for a total of 4 illigitemate children. since the other fathers don't work, my son is the only one paying support (that we know of). the woman has been on welfare for the last 15 or so years, an the district attorney in san diego has socked my son for back child support. do we have a chance to lower this amt.

Re: child support

Child support is determined by a math calculation not by morality. Your son may or may not be paying too much. Consult an attorney to compute the proper sum. Michael Hall Gray
