Legal Question in Family Law in California
Child Support
My son is now 18, and is in continuation school. He attends only 3 hours daily. Is this considered a full time student for child support contiuing until age 19?

Re: Child Support
I don't know. I would start by looking at whether your son is
attending a school with a regular schedule, and whether he is taking the
complete schedule. Some "home study" programs would be considered full time --
as the student would graduate in the normal number of years -- although
the classroom hours would be few. Is it an "adult" school, or the
high school continuation for students who don't do well on campus? I think
a judge would have to look at all these issues.

Re: Child Support
I was going to simply tell you "No". But you might be able to convince a judge otherwise. Let me answer this way: if the judge applies the law correctly, child support is over now.
