Child Support After 18
Does the State of California allow a parent to seek child support after age 18 if the child is a full-time college student living at home?

Re: Child Support After 18
If your divorce isn't finalized yet, you could negotiate to include post-18 child support and/or college expenses, but like the previous response indiciated, absent an agreement, the responsibility ends at 18/high school graduation.
Re: Child Support After 18
No once the child reaches 18 years of age and has graduated from high school the legal obligation to support the child ceases.
This can be changed by agreement to include support while the child is attending college. The minimum age cannot be lowered. That is age cannot lowered below the statutory age.
