Re: child support
The children of the marriage have a statutory right to receive child support, and each parent has a statutory duty to support their children. If you have children of the marriage and they are listed on the petition for dissolution, the Court may order support for the children for the other party even if you do not ask for it.
Parents, parties, cannot unilaterily contract away the rights of the children without the Courts approval. The Court may or may not make an order for Child support on its own discretion in this regard!
Re: child support
it will if the other side asks for it.
