Legal Question in Family Law in California

Child Support

My ex wife filed a case against me to increase child support. She did so in Contra Costa County Ca. The hearing is scheduled for 1/9/08. The problem is, she moved to alameda county on the first of december. Question is, Does Contra Costa county court have the jurisdiction to hear this case when petitioner is not a resident of that county?

Re: Child Support

Yes the Contra Costa Court has jurisdiction to hear the case until there is an order moving the case to another court.
