Legal Question in Family Law in California

Child support/Community property laws

I have a high profile family law case with a man who is married. We had a relationship during his ''break'' of 3 years with his wife and conceived a child.

Is it true in Ca that he can claim only 50% of the income on his I & E due to CA community property laws?

What is the law for community property, spouses rights and child support?
