Legal Question in Family Law in California

child support/custody

My daughter's father is in the military stationed overseas. I need to know what can I do to get a court order for support and sole custody. He has not seen her since she was 3mths old and she is now 8yrs old. She is his military dependent but he won't respond to paperwork from any child support agency. What can I do to get an order for support and sole custody taken care of quickly?

Contact your local congressional representative and ask for help. You did not state where the child was concieved and was born. These factors can affect the question of jurisdiction of the court over the father. Child support services in you county should be able to assist you.
