Legal Question in Family Law in California

child support/custody

In San Bernardino county, do you have to file separatly for child

support and for sole custody? Who should I talk to about this? The county does not tell me. Is there any kind of agency where I might get some low cost advice? I make about 49,000. Thank you.

Re: child support/custody

I am not familar with San Bernadino county and its local rules. Check with the court as the the availability of a family law clinic. Also check with the San Bernadino county bar association. Local bar associations often have modest means panels of attorneys who will take cases at a lower fee.

The judicial counsel forms allow a person to file a single motion or OSC for both visitation and support. Base on this judicial counsel form it would appear that it can be done in one filing.
