Legal Question in Family Law in California
child support/family law
My divorce paperwork shows under the child support ruling resevered as of June 2007, What does this mean? My divorce was final in July of the same year. At the time my ex-husband did not have a job and was on disability due to service in Iraq with the CA. national guard.

Re: child support/family law
The court has reserved jurisdiction to adjust child support back to the date the order was made. This allows the court to consider changes in income that occur during that time. The judge had the impression that his disability was temporary and could go away sometime in the future.
