Legal Question in Family Law in California

child support/visitation

parent stated in court documention accusing other parent of dometisic abuse she aslo at this time requested child support to be increased. The accused party did not appear in court due to not being responsible. The accused party has cleaned up their act. Since then has gone back to court for visitations and support modifications. During this research found the accusation of domestic violence, which is false and can get doumentation showing has never been arrested for such act. At that time the child support order was $1020. per month, can anything be done about the past support owed being order due to false accusations, since the accusing party perjured themselves? Is there a statute of limitations on this kind of stuff.

Re: child support/visitation

You can try filing a motion for reconsideration, or a motion to set aside the order.
