Legal Question in Family Law in California

Can i take my child on vacation out of state without getting consent of her father? Currently I am getting a restraining order against him and will want to file custody of both our children. Residing in California, planned vacation to Ohio for 1 week.

If your ex has battered or abused you , consider an ex parte restraining order seeking a stay away order from you and the children.
