Legal Question in Family Law in California

child visitation

My daughter 13 does not want to visit her father per court order. We are currently fighting in court for this request but the court doesnt feel she is old enough to make that decision. The father has had some inapporpiate sexually interactions with my daughter but court states since it hasnt be intercoarse it not abuse. What can i do?

Re: child visitation

It is difficult to believe that any court stated that because there was no intercourse that it was not molest. I would suggest the following. Order the court reporters record of the hearing in which the judge made that statement. Also take you daughter to a counselor for counseling. If the court transcript supports your statement then report this conduct to the council on judicial performance.
