Legal Question in Family Law in California

Child Visitation

My kids father has rights to visit the children for the first two weeks of summer but he lives eight hours away and my daughter has mandatory summer school. So does he have the right to still take her out of town or must he take her to summer school as scheduled?

Re: Child Visitation

You should talk to him and attempt to negotiate a change in visitation schedule. So that he receives his two weeks after she has finished summer school. It is unreasonable to expect him to give up his vacation time with her because she has to attend summer school.
