Child Visitation
Mother was awarded sole physical custody with no visitation to father. Father abandoned mother at 5 months pregnant. Father lives in NC and mother lives in CA. If the father petitioned the court for visitation what are his chances? Child is now 2 yrs old.

His opportunity to get visitation would depend upon his background. Also the court will unlikely not award any lengthy visits. A two year old is too young to be away from you for more than a few hours at a time. Since father has not seen the child the first visits would be much shorter.
