Legal Question in Family Law in California

Child visitation

My son's three old daughter lived in New Mexico with her birth mother. My son lives in California. Twice a month he drives to New Mexico to visit his daughter. He pays $500 monthly child support.

Recently the mother has moved to Nebraska, she plans to wed and reside in Nebraska with the daughter.

This is too far for a weekend visit. Does my son have any legal rights?

Re: Child visitation

yes, in a nutshell, if there has been a change in circumstances that detrimentally affect your son regarding visitation rights now, your son should schedule an OSC hearing to defend and/or restore his rights here asap. if he would like a free phone consultation on this matter, your son may email us directly with his contact information or call us directly at 562-983-5576.
