Child Visitation & support In CA

I have been involved in a custody and child support battle with my 5 year old son's mother. i was visiting with him off and on over the past five years but more on a regular basis over the last two years. i have since then married and have had two other daughters with my wife there was a dissagreement between me and my ex over me diciplining my boy. and she told me i wouldnt see him anymore i then filed child visitation papers with the court she has lied and said i am abusive to my boy and i have been going thru hoops trying to prove to the courts that i am not an abusive father under supervised visits the thing that i am concerned about is her draging my wife into all this she wants my wife's income on file and is basically being as greedy as she can get my wife has refused to participate or provide any request the courts want which i dont blame her what can be done we file taxes jointly and the children live with both of us so if u can help please respond

Re: Child Visitation & support In CA

You should consult with an attorney or have a long talk with your attorney. The law prohibits the use of your wife's income to determine child support, with a few exceptions. Her income is put into the child support program for the purpose of determining the amount taxes you pay. As a general rule the addition of her income to the computer program reduces the amount of child support you pay.
