How old before a child can say if they want to visit non custodial parent?

They can say they don't want to visit at any age, but they do not get the choice until they are 18 years old and an adult. Until that time the court will generally order visits. The courts are very skeptical because in most cases it is the custodial parent who is speaking through the child and influencing the child. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
