Legal Question in Family Law in California
Child withheld
Topic: Denied child visitation
Background and history:
I used to live in California, mother and child live in California currently, I live in Nevada, but fly to California every 2 weeks for business. Mother has denied visitation of child from me since age 2 and denied visitation to his grandparents (on my side) since age 5. Child is 8 yrs old and is a boy. I have paid $700 child support a month for this child religiously and on time since his birth
My questions are as follows:
How can I get mother to let me visit and contact child?
Since I live in another state is that a problem?
Will there be any recourse from the court/ex spouse, example, (audit of my current wages for more child support)?
Are his Grandparents on my side entitled to visitation?
Will visitation for me (Father) be mandated supervised, in a public area, under her scrutiny and ill temper?
Can I withhold payment of child support to force her to accept visitation?
Thanks for your time in answering my questions

Re: Child withheld
The fact that you are paying support may be your only defense to a petition to terminate your parental rights. You must assert your right of visitation via a hearing called ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE. You must also file a petition to establish paternity if the mother and yourself were not married at the relevant times. Call me directly at (619) 222-3504.
