Can my children be brought out of state without consent of the other parent?

Can my childrens' father take my children out of state on a vacation without my consent?

That would depend upon the present court order for visitation. Many of these orders do have a provision requiring written consent to remove the children from the state of California.

He should provide you with information about where he will be going and how to contact him. This information should also include date of departure and date of return.
