Legal Question in Family Law in California

Hi my children have been in Foster Care for three years. My god mother has legal guardianship of them. I want to know if i can get joint custody or legal/physical joint custody? I have termination of custody/visitation paper work, But i don't want to terminate custody yet just joint. Is it possible? I see my kids on a regular basis already.

t is possible but the presumption is after 2 years of not resuming care of your children that you are unfit. They have to appoint you an expert if they are going to terminate your rights.
