Legal Question in Family Law in California

Children

My question is what the law is and what I should do. I have two kids that the mother just up and left out of state with them. one child is mine by blood and she has a daughter that calls me daddy since she was 6 months old. She did tell me she was leaving but I didnt think it would be out of state.

The general rule is that the home state for the children is the state in which they have lived the past 6 months. With few exceptions that state has jurisdiction over the children. Acting quickly is imperative in your case.
