my childs dad is starting to say that his mom is going to take my baby away from me when she is born, does she have any rights?

Grandparents can establish that they are the best choice for custody if there are reasons that the parents can not provide. If you wish to maintain custody of the child, you may have a fight on your hands. What are your circumstances? Do you want to keep the child yourself? File a paternity action and request custody and support ;which will name you as the child's guardian if that is what the court feels is best for the child?
