Legal Question in Family Law in California

childsupport

My ex-husband hasnt paid childsupport in over 5 years or so. He is never around or calls his son. How can i get him to pay childsupport now, does he have to pay me back for all those years he didnt pay me. His paycheck used to be garnished but it just stopped from one day to another. What can i do?

Re: childsupport

Contact the department of child support services in your county and open a case. The gather your records and determine what months he failed to pay child support. Then report this to child support services and ask them to collect the arrears. There is no charge for their services.
