Legal Question in Family Law in California

civil filing

Is it possible to sue an ex for damages and montary loss incurred during a divorce?

I have lost everything, my house, my life savings due to my ex filing for divorce three years ago. I unknowningly signed over the house our only asset to him. Can I file a civil lawsuit?

Thank you.

Re: civil filing

You generally sue someone for losses resulting from a lawsuit. If he failed to disclose an asset to you may be able to go back to court to get that asset divided. Contact an attorney and review the divorce documents.
