Legal Question in Family Law in California

i have a clothing line that looks like it will be very big some day. I am the owner but i have recently become engaged the only problem is he has two kids and his childrens mother is very vendictive. She is constantly causing drama. she has child support on him now but she is recieving public assistance and section 8. what i wanted to know is if i marry him now instead of waiting until the children are 18. can she come after me for more money or will he be the only one that she can request child support from.
