If you received a final judgment at all in your case, go to court and get a copy of it and give it to the union. But here's what they are looking for: Your wife was probably entitled to a portion of your pension. The judgment probably states this. The union doesn't want to get in trouble by releasing your funds to you if your wife is supposed to receive a portion of the pension. If the judgment states she isn't going to receive any of it, then you will be fine. Otherwise, if it states she's entitled to a portion of it, you will have to have a QDRO done.
As stated in the prior answer you need to check the court file in your dissolution case to see if a judgment was entered. If no judgment was entered, you should see if the facilitator's office at the courthouse can help you with the necessary papers. Otherwise, consult with an attorney.
