College expenses for adult children in divorce case

s my husband liable for his adult children's school loans-his divorce settlement states he is liable for half of the college tuition. He paid the first year, last year, but now the kids have taken out school loans without our knowledge and the ex wife expects my husband to pay for half of their loans...we had no say in the interest rates, type of loan, etc. Thanks

You should have an attorney review the settlement agreement. The attorney that drafted the agreement may be able to assist you. The answer to your question depends upon the terms of the agreement.
