Legal Question in Family Law in California

College Tuition

My daughter's father offered to continue paying child support once our daughter graduated high school and went off to college. This is not part of the existing court order. Now he is placing unrealistic conditions such as our child must be on the NCAA Div 1 soccer team or he won't pay. What recourse do we have? He made a promise to us that we counted on and now it has been over four months and he's not paid a dime. I'm looking at $37K in after tax income that I'll spend on my child ALONE. Can I go back to court and win in California?

Re: College Tuition

Yes, you could take him back to court to have an order enforced. But the better thing to do is first, take your court order to an attorney who is willing to give you a free consultation. Find out what your options are.
