does calif, reconize common law marrage , if you and your partner have been together seven years or more?

No. However, California may recognize a valid marriage from another State, i.e. if another State declares two people to be married via common law marriage, then California would recognize it.

California has no provision for common law marriages. However, California recognizes a legal marriage from another state or jurisdiction. A couple that lives in a state that has a provision for the formation of a common law marriage. this marriage would be recognized in California.
