Legal Question in Family Law in California

Community vs seperate asset question clarification

Hi,

I am asking for clarification on a previous question.

I am a performer. I have filed a summary dissolution. We claimed no community property & divided up personal possessions & a small amount of $ ourselves. I am owed a small amount of $ which we are settling privately.

*Regarding the question for classes, $190 was a credit earned for work I performed. At a different company, $110 was purchased.

*Is the $110 an asset?

My spouse should know about my purchase, as the purchase came from a joint account, and agreed that I could do it.

Are these specific classes my separate property?

Thanks again for your help.

Re: Community vs seperate asset question clarification

If they were earned through your labor during the marriage, they are community assets.
