Legal Question in Family Law in California
this is complicated: In 2007 I left my husband of 23 yrs, for what ever reason 4 mths later he goes to NV to marry his neighbor (of 2mths), both knowing that we are still legally married in CA, however he did not know she is also still legally married in Ca. 5 yrs, a baby & a rocky relationship she files for legal seperation to take assests, 1 being our adult daughter's vehicle, which has been settled in court with a lawyer (per your advice). She is still harrassing my daughter regarding the vehicle & has served my daughter again with court paperwork. Can I file a civil suit against her on the grounds that 1 she isn't legally married to my husband so therefore her legal seperation is knull in void, 2 she fraudlently filed legal seperation papers knowing she is not legally married to my husband. I don't want to invovle my husband in the procedure, I just want her to leave my family alone

In for a penny in for a pound is how the saying goes. Your husband is involved. You want legal action you can't leave him out.
